Phonics/Reading enrichment will give your child a good head start to reading. Originating from Australia, The Fitzroy literacy phonics program has been developed over the last 28 years by founders of the Fitzroy Community School.
SMART-PHONICS will cover:

The objectives are to enhance your child’s:

- Writing skills
- Reading skills
- Spelling skills
Basic phonics would cover initial stages of writing such as formation of lines and circles, including writing of singular letters of the alphabet. Besides exposure to sounds of letters, your child would also be exposed to early writing skills.
The course will cover mainly, writing, sounding and recognizing of the letters in the alphabet. According to each child’s pace of learning, the course will also cover two letter words or vocabulary from the letters.

Each reader introduces a new sound such as oy and some new special words such as said. Along with each reader comes with activity sheets supporting spelling, basic grammar, comprehension and discussion. Readers of 10 might be spread over two terms if need be according to each child’s pace of reading.
